Hello, and thanks for visiting. I’m Justin Chauncey, based in Westchester, NY. I’m a proud father of  two beautiful children who remind me daily to look for beauty in the small moments, and I’m grateful to be supported every step of the way by my incredible wife, Margot.

Photography has fascinated me since childhood. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, where my dad handed me a Canon 35mm. After much trial and error I learned to properly expose an image, I was hooked on the act of freezing moments in time through photography.

That passion followed me through my 20s and 30s. In 2009, I moved to New York with my wife Margot, who encouraged me to go all-in on photography. In 2014, I started JCP Images, and I’ve since photographed thousands of clients—from plays and bar/bat mitzvahs to weddings worldwide.
